Yup, it is that time of year here in Montana, time to get your practice in during the spring taking out these little guys out. Get good at judging distance and have a good time.
I have always though Gopher hunting would be a hoot. I need to see where they hang out near KY and give it a try. Not sure I can get out to Montana anytime soon. would love to move out west though...
