Good evening everyone, I feel like a fish out of water here but here it goes. I recently lost my father whom I have been taking care of for the last 20+ years. After doing some thinking on ways to get myself out of the house and find a way to relax I decided to give fishing a try. Any suggestions on a good rod and reel for a complete beginner? I plan on catching typical fresh water fish, nothing large and only on lakes to begin with. Any info and insight will be greatly appreciated.
